Thursday ETF Winners: Emerging Market ETFs Beat SPY

Emerging market ETFs shrugged off a suspenseful Greek drama to serve up big gains Thursday. Equities from Brazil, Vietnam and Indonesia led the way, with China on the tail end. Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets (VWO) climbed 0.6% in intraday trade. At Thursday's open, VWO had advanced 3.3% year to date. By comparison, SPDR S&P 500 (SPY) was up 1.9% over the same period.
